Quality Roofing Inc. is honored to support Little Free Pantries in the Marshfield area by helping improve the roofs on local pantry structures.
Little Free Pantries recently picked up the newly completed roofs from Devyn and the crew at QRI. The project is part of ongoing improvements being made to all six Little Free Pantry locations in the area.
Three of the existing pantries previously had only basic roof membrane. To strengthen and improve the structures, a volunteer woodworker upgraded the roof bases, while Quality Roofing added new membrane, shingles, and metal edging. These improvements will help protect the food inside from Wisconsin’s rain, snow, wind, and changing temperatures for many years.
The work supports the mission of Little Free Pantries, which provide accessible food resources for neighbors in need.
“We are so grateful for the assistance received by Quality Roofing. They did not hesitate to understand the LFP mission and jump in to help in a big way,” said Jacki Fassler, LFP Coordinator.
The partnership may continue later this year as well. A volunteer woodworker plans to build two to three additional Little Free Pantries this summer, and Quality Roofing has been asked to help finish those roofs, too.
Quality Roofing Inc. is proud to be part of a local effort that strengthens community resources and helps keep food protected for the families and individuals who rely on them.
