saputo cheese

Quality Roofing recently completed work on the Brine Room at Saputo Cheese, a specialized project that required careful planning and coordination.

Roofing System Details

  • The project involved removing the existing ballast system, but the bottom layer of EPS insulation was fully mopped down, requiring extra effort during removal.
  • The roof contained extensive piping, which made the process more complex and required careful navigation throughout the 1.5-month project.
  • Additional subcontractors were brought in to install protective plastic above the ceiling to ensure safety and cleanliness while work was performed overhead.

Special Considerations

While Quality Roofing crews typically don’t need to go inside the Brine Room, strict sanitation rules are in place. If entry is required, workers must wear rubber booties, a full white trench coat, and a hard hat to meet food-grade facility standards.

Client Relationship

This project is one of several Quality Roofing has completed for Saputo Cheese in recent years.
