Auto Shop Roofing Project Completed in Marshfield, WI

Quality Roofing Completes New Roof at West 14th Automotive in Marshfield, WI

West 14th Automotive, a growing local business in Marshfield, recently partnered with Quality Roofing to replace their aging roof. The project, led by David Peters, project manager at Quality Roofing, involved installing a black, fully adhered EPDM roof, an upgrade from their previous mechanically attached EPDM system.

“We prefer to do an adhered end,” explained David. “It’s a higher-end product that lasts longer, and it’s the option the customer preferred. While both systems offer the same warranty, the adhered method provides more durability and reliability over time.

In addition to the new roof, Quality Roofing installed new fascia and soffit metal returns, while also adding some insulation to boost the building’s R-value. This additional insulation will help improve the building’s energy efficiency.

Despite the project taking place during one of the hottest weeks of the summer, the crew remained focused on safety.

“Our crews are trained to prioritize safety, especially in extreme heat. We make sure they stay hydrated and are always watching for signs of heat stress,” said David. Quality Roofing holds regular in-house safety talks to ensure their team is always prepared for challenging conditions.

It’s always exciting to see a new business in town using local contractors, and West 14th Automotive is no exception. As a small business, they’re clearly growing, and it’s great to be part of their journey by providing top-tier roofing solutions.

5 Questions to Ask Your Commercial Roofer

questions to ask your commercial roofer

When hiring a commercial roofer, it’s important to ask the right questions to ensure you’re working with a qualified professional (like Quality Roofing).

Here are five key questions to ask:

    1. Are you licensed, insured, and bonded? This confirms the roofer’s legitimacy and protects you from liability in case of accidents or damage during the project.

    2. Can you provide references or examples of previous commercial roofing projects? Seeing past work and hearing from previous clients can give you confidence in their experience and quality of work.

    3. What is your process for handling unexpected issues or additional repairs? It’s important to know how they address surprises like hidden damage or unforeseen complications that may arise during the project.

    4. Do you offer a warranty on both materials and workmanship? Understanding the coverage of warranties will help you know what to expect if problems arise after the project is completed.

    5. What safety protocols do you follow on the job site? Ensuring that they adhere to industry safety standards protects both their workers and your property from potential harm.

Softball Tournament In Memory of Kyle ”Tizzy” Tisdell

Kyle Tisdell, who was better known as “Tizzy” around the softball fields (and here at Quality Roofing), tragically and unexpectedly passed away on March 26. Kyle has been a part of the Marshfield Softball Association (MSA) for many years, while fulfilling the role of Vice President the last 5 years. Kyle took pride in running the leagues, tournaments, and making sure everyone at the ball field was welcomed and enjoyed their time.

His favorite tournament was always the men’s tournament in August, known as the Marshfield Invitational Tournament (MIT). In memory of Kyle, and to show support for his wife and daughter, the MSA board would like to hold a fund raiser during Kyle’s favorite tournament.

The 2024 MIT will be held August 9-11. All money raised during the tournament will go to Kyle’s wife and daughter. We graciously ask for any donations you are able. We will be holding basket raffles, bat raffles, and 50/50 raffles throughout the tournament.
