QUALITY ROOFING HONORED WITH FIRM OF THE YEAR

Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) Quality Roofing, Inc. has provided commercial roofing and sheet metal services in Wisconsin since 1943, completing projects from Lambeau Field to the Kohl Center at UW-Madison.

The Marshfield and Menomonie-based business was honored Wednesday as the MACCI 2020 Firm of the Year.

Owned by Mark & Pat Begotka since 1990, Quality Roofing has worked on numerous local projects such as the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library, Marshfield YMCA, St. Vincent de Paul, the former Marshfield City Hall Plaza, and the Marshfield School District’s new athletic facilities, for which it donated materials, labor, and roofing.

The business is involved in many causes. Each fall, it provides equipment for the Kiwanis Enormous Equipment Playground (KEEP), an educational program which gives kids a close-up look at heavy machinery.

It has also partnered with the Opportunity Development Center (ODC) for 20 years, hosting a vocational program for those with disabilities and working with Thrivent Financial to enroll ODC in a charitable grant program that has awarded thousands of dollars to the organization.

Quality Roofing considers its partnership with alternative high schools and prison re-entry programs to provide employment to those individuals as some of its most important work.

The business has also contributed over $100,000 to the MCHS celebrity trap shoot which supports patient care.
